Default How to improve your FPS in CS

Here I'll show you how to get maximum FPS in CS. The first thing you have to do is to use those commands in the console:

rate 25000
cl_rate 9999
cl_updaterate 101
cl_cmdrate 101
fps_max 101
m_filter 1
sv_maxupdaterate 101
sv_minupdaterate 101
cl_weather 0

Ok ... now you'r ready to play with 100 fps. If you still don't have the maximum fps, and you'r an nVidia user you need to turn off you'r Vertical Sync. How to do this ? It's easy:

1. Go to Control Panel.
2. Find the nVidia Control Panel and start it.
3. Go to 3D Settings - Manage 3D Settings
4. Click on Global Settings and than scroll down until you see Vertical Sync
5. Force it Off

If you didn't get it ... you can download my video and see how to do that.

A little support for Ati users:
First: You open your Catalyst Control Centre and then click on the top left corner (The button graphics)

Then go here and turn off the function (It's called "wait for vertical refresh")

Hope this was helpful :]
