CZ Menu Backgrounds

I set this at intermediate because you need to know photoshop skills(or other photo editing programs.

This is for condition zero only.I will try and explain this as simple as i can.

requirements:
-editing program like photoshop.
- An image. 1024x768 will make it full screen, other resolutions will not be full screen.




1. First thing you need is an editing program that will allow you to save in targa(.tga) format.

2. Open the editing program you have and create a new file(must be 256x256) "refer to screenshot Fig.1"

3. open up the image that you wish to make a background.

4. here is how the image will be cut down."refer to screenshot Fig.2"


5. ok now what i did was highlight the new image(256x256)"refer to screenshot Fig.3"

6. then you go to the image that you would like as a menu bg."refer to screenshot Fig.4"

7. each square in the image above it a separate .tga file. the text in there is the name of the file.

8. now all you need to do is copy each square from your background to the 256x256 image.

9. once you have copied and pasted all the files you need to create a background you need to save them in the right format/name.

10. here is the file names you need to save them as:

row 1:
800_1_a_loading.tga
800_1_b_loading.tga
800_1_c_loading.tga
800_1_d_loading.tga

row 2:
800_2_a_loading.tga
800_2_b_loading.tga
800_2_c_loading.tga
800_2_d_loading.tga

row 3:
800_3_a_loading.tga
800_3_b_loading.tga
800_3_c_loading.tga
800_3_d_loading.tga

11. now put in your czero folder.
C:\Program Files\Steam\SteamApps\*account email*\condition zero\czero\resource\background

now load up condition zero and check it out.
